What you need
- 4 tbsp Honico Chocolate Spread & Beverage
- 1½ cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 4 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
How to make it
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a muffin tin with paper cases.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, coconut oil, vanilla and Honico Chocolate Spread & Beverage together until smooth.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a separate bowl.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients — stop as soon as it is just combined. Do not overmix or the muffins will be dense.
- Divide the batter between the cases, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until risen and a skewer comes out clean.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack. Drizzle warm Honico Chocolate Spread & Beverage over the tops while they are still warm.

Drizzle the spread over the muffins while they are still warm from the oven — it soaks in slightly at the edges and sets into a fragrant honey glaze as it cools. Simple and stunning.
